TM and Perodua Partner to Advance Malaysia’s Automotive Sector

TM and Perodua have announced a strategic partnership to advance electric vehicle (EV) development, digital innovation, and sustainable growth in Malaysia’s automotive sector. The collaboration focuses on four key areas: Hyperconnected Network, Advancing Digital Technology, Enriching Customer Experience, and Environmental Sustainability.
Partnership Details
TM, through its enterprise and government sector solutions arm TM One, will provide Perodua with upgraded infrastructure, including fixed and wireless connectivity, SD-WAN solutions for dealer networks, and private 5G for automotive applications. The partnership also aims to implement smart manufacturing technologies to enhance Perodua’s operational capabilities.
TM One will leverage its expertise in Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and AI to support initiatives in smart manufacturing, GPU as a Service, and EV and autonomous driving technologies.
Collaborative Efforts
The two companies plan to expand their market reach through co-created products and innovative marketing strategies. This includes developing customized infotainment systems, smart mapping solutions, and joint digital marketing campaigns.
Environmental sustainability is also a key focus of the partnership, with plans to collaborate on clean energy solutions for EV charging infrastructure and waste reduction initiatives.
